What is a Video Sitemap?
A Video Sitemap is an extended XML sitemap that provides search engines with information about the videos available on your website. It helps search engines discover video content and understand details such as video titles, descriptions, and thumbnails.

What types of videos can be included in a Video Sitemap?
Video Sitemaps support two ways of referencing video content: direct links to video files and links to video players. This allows search engines to discover both videos hosted on your website or CDN and videos embedded through external platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo.
Our generator supports both methods, automatically detecting videos embedded directly in page content and those displayed through iframe-based players. It collects the available video information and generates the corresponding sitemap entries.
